Tammy Infusino – “Used To Be”

Hailing from New York City, this singer and songwriter always had musical aspirations, but after college started waiting tables first. A Craigslist ad of a songwriter looking for a vocalist to sing a demo changed all that. Based in LA and inspired by Alicia Keys and Etta James, she debuted with “Leave It Alone” in 2010.

Singing about how a rough breakup led to her prioritizing her own mental health, growth and self-love, her new single is filled with positivity and personal development. Taken from her upcoming album “Hiding Out”, expected in 2025, the song fuses retro elements with modern flair. Tasting hints of R&B, classic soul and a very funky chorus, it’s the live instrumentation with a buoyant beat, swish synths and her mesmerizing vocals that give this vibrant tune a virulent authenticity.
