Hailing from Birmingham, this British collective was formed in January 2024 by singer and guitarist Alex Ohm. They further consists of bassist Hannah Maiden, guitarist Stephen Ashford and drummer Tom Crowson. Their sound is a melting pot of styles that blend together into an unique, cinematic indie sound. They performed live at the Community Festival in Wolverhampton and the What’s Happenin’ Weekender in Birmingham. They debuted with “Down The Rabbit Hole” last August.
Highlighting the need to always believe in yourself and to be the author of your own destiny, their new single has a stadium-sized anthemic feel. Taken from their upcoming debut album “Departures From The States Of The Mind”, expected on 13 February 2025, the song opens with a classical string section, before being joined by a lively drum-‘n-bass beat. Layered on top with indie-rock vocals and full-bodied electric guitars, this groove is an imposing orchestral fusion.

Jayden Hills – “Die High”
Based in Los Angeles and born as Jessica Schwartz, this emerging singer and songwriter wanted to be an artist since kindergarten. Encouraged by her dad who’d sing and play songs for her on a guitar, she took piano, guitar and singing lessons and spent her time in her room singing and writing songs. At 16 she had the chance to perform with Train and repeated that experience 2 years later. Collaborating with Inverness on all her songs, she debuted with “Love Me Alone” in 2024.
Written on the night her dad passed away as her way to cope with the devastating loss, her new single is deeply personal and profound. Released two days ago, on the anniversary of his death, the electronic pop song is infused with a softness and vulnerability. Opening with breezy synths and soft distorted backing vocals, there’s a bouncy beat added in the chorus. Creating a hypnotic soundscape that reaches your soul, it’s her airy vocals that make this a heartrending experience.
