In The Spotlight

Jacob Fitzgerald – “Lonely”

Melbourne-based and born to a rebel dad and a calming mum, this Australian singer and songwriter grew up with music in his ears. Inspired by the feel-good songs from the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Huey Lewis & The News and Poison, he started playing in pubs as a teenager. Having created his own, exciting pop-rock style, he burst onto the music scene with his earworm single “Adore Ya” in 2018.

Taking your senses from a suave and easygoing start to the energetic guitar-driven chorus, his new single is all-encompassing slice of rousing indie-rock. Taken from his upcoming EP “Pretend I’m Cool”, expected to drop on November 19th, he infused the lyrics with desperation and insecurity, while adding a sense of positivity through the hearty guitars and brisk beats, making it irresistible.
