Molly Millington – “Just Drive”

Hailing from New South Wales, this genre-bending Australian singer and songwriter entered her school talent show at 11 and by 14 she had started busking. Two years later she was performing at renowned festivals such as Bluesfest Byron Bay and Laneway Festival. She also toured around the country supporting Thelma Plum, Kita Alexander and Alex Lahey. Inspired by wide-ranging artists like Freddie Mercury, Dolly Parton and Kacey Musgraves, she debuted with “Circus Animal” in 2020.

Lyrically reminiscing about the carefree days of youth when a lack of responsibilities meant freedom, her new single conjures that nostalgic feeling of just wanting to drive away and start afresh. Benny Morrell – “Where Did The Time Go”

Born in Melbourne, this emerging Australian singer, songwriter and rapper began performing live at the age of 6. He grew up with music like Fleetwood Mac and Queen and attended drama classes in school. Initially writing poetry, he gravitated to writing songs in his teen years. Since then he’s performed at a multitude of festivals like Subsonic and Open Season and shared the stage with Kita Alexander. Inspired by A Tribe Called Quest and Gang Starr, he debuted with “Hometown” in 2022.

Written as a love letter to old memories, his new single explores the emotions that come with growing apart from a loved one. Capturing the bittersweet lyrics in a breezy pop melody, it’s the sonic stew of a resonant beat, shimmering synths and radiant guitars that forge this full-flavoured auditory treat. Billie du Page – “Tell Me”

Hailing from Montreal, this Canadian singer and songwriter’s affinity for music became clear when she spontaneously started singing on a plane aged 3. At the age of 4 she began playing the piano and wrote her first songs at 10. Currently studying communications at Concordia University, she mixes it with performing at various music festivals and opening for Coeur de Pirate and Aliocha Schneider. Inspired by Lana Del Rey and Charlotte Cardin, she released her debut “Fake Friends” in 2024.

Reflecting on the ‘what ifs’ of life, her new single contemplates how different choices could have changed the path life has taken us. Filled with introspection and curiosity of what alternate outcomes could’ve been like, the song goes on a soul-searching trip. Slowly enticing us in with mellow keys, the melody is soon joined by the bouncy beat and sassy fingersnaps, before coming to life with a joyous, 90s-infused pop feast. Hailing from the Bay Area, this singer/songwriter got the performance bug aged 6 when she put her first steps on a stage. Despite her love for music, she got a soccer scholarship from UC Berkeley. After graduation she moved to Nashville to pursue her dream of becoming a country singer. She was a contestant on Season 18 of American Idol, mentored by Katy Perry, and reached the top 10. Inspired by The Chicks, LeAnn Rimes and Whitney Houston, she debuted with “Brought A Girl” in 2022.

Showing another side of breakups, her new single celebrates all the relationships that didn’t work, because they shaped the person she is today and guided her to where she’s supposed to be in life. Taken from her upcoming EP “It Was Worth It”, expected on October 10th, she expertly blends her country sound with a touch of pop. With a driving rhythm and bright steel guitars leading to the sprightly chorus and her sparkling vocals, this infectious country groove is filled with positivity.

Michelle David & The True-tones – “Speak To Me”

Raised in New York, this singer/songwriter began singing at the age of 4 and joined her first group, The Mission Of Love, aged 5. Since the start of her career she’s toured the world with the Broadway musical “Mama, I Want To Sing”, contributed to theatre shows like “The Sound Of Motown” and recorded for Diana Ross and Michael Bolton. Based near Amsterdam, The Netherlands and inspired by Mahalia Jackson, Bobby Womack and James Brown, they debuted with “Yes I Know” in 2021.

Finding a balance between the comfort of holding back and the necessity of honesty, their new single captures those moments when speaking from the heart can heal. Favourite Kid – “Eyes On The Road”

Originally from Wales, UK and raised in Queensland, this Australian sibling trio consists of Ethan, Jaimie and Saul Roberts. All three attended RockSkool at the Australian Institute Of Country Music. Ethan started writing songs and performing solo as Aspy Jones, before his siblings joined him in this new endeavour. They played festivals like Woodford Folk Festival and Caloundra Music Festival. Inspired by Mumford & Sons, Sheppard and George Ezra, they debuted with “I Know More” in 2024.

Encouraging us to see life like a ride, rather than a race, their new single focuses on the need to move at your own pace and to not compare yourself to others. Taken from their upcoming debut album “Two Cent Journal”, expected on November 21st, this bubbly song is a blend of vibrant pop with perky country. Starting the vivid melody with some sun-soaked guitars and joined by a rosy rhythm, it’s the sheer optimism in the vocals that douse this sanguine tune in pure sunshine.
