Inger Lise Hope – Jansen's Jamz

Hailing from Stavanger, this Norwegian singer-songwriter grew up in a country-music-loving household. From a young age, she showed a real talent for hearing tones and pitches. Overcoming childhood shyness, she auditioned for The X Factor Norway in 2009, was placed in a band called Shackles and became the runner-up. In 2024, she entered The Voice Norway and went on to win. Inspired by Celine Dion, Lara Fabian and Whitney Houston, she released her debut “Ka Va Det Eg Sa” in 2018.

With deeply personal lyrics about self-acceptance, vulnerability and reclaiming one’s true identity, her new single captures the bravery needed to listen to her heart and let go of fear. Featuring the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, this song is an imposing cinematic, orchestral ballad. Slowly easing into the melody with lush strings and intimate piano, the arrangement swells to a crescendo of theatrical percussion and vivid brass. And with her flawless vocals, this is a grandiose tune.
