Jea Mira – Jansen's Jamz

Born as Joanna Mira Dolba in Lublin, this Polish singer and songwriter discovered a passion for music from a young age. Listening to the album “Pure Heroine” by Lorde at the age of 14 fueled her interest in writing her own songs. She moved to the UK after high school to attend the BIMM institute in London. In Poland she won the Discovery Of The Year at the Bestsellery Empiku in 2024. Inspired by Lana Del Rey, Adele and Lykke Li, she released her debut single “In Blue” in 2020.

Singing about the harsh reality of a relationship which is falling apart, her new single pleads for a partner to lie better as it’s easier to deal with than the painful reality of a breakup. Driven by an electronic disco-pop beat, this atmospheric song conjures up a dreamy ambiance. Melodically enriched with shimmering synths, a warm bassline and rich guitars gives it an understated cinematic feeling. And with her breathy vocals expressing the emotive weight, this is a luscious tune.
