In The Spotlight

Tissa Rahim – “Done, Done, Done”

Born in Vienna, Austria into a family of Persian musicians and now based in Vancouver, this Canadian singer and songwriter blends R&B and soul with her Persian roots. Initially performing with a band, she performed at New Orleans’ House Of Blues and Vancouver’s jazz & soul club Guilt And Co. Inspired by Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill and Etta James, she debuted solo with “Lift A Finger” in 2019.

Featuring Berlin-based singer and songwriter Dominique Fricot, her new single captures the moment she realized that she was done living in an one-way relationship. Recorded with live instrumentation to add an authentic feel, it’s the mellow drums, slick bass and smooth guitars that give it a velvety vibe. And with her heartfelt vocals telling the tale, you won’t be done with this soulful gem.
