Born on Rhode Island, USA and raised in Quebec City, this Canadian singer and songwriter grew up in a musical family with a blues musician father and an artist mother. She studied jazz at CEGEP in Montreal and got a BA in jazz vocals. As well as performing at various festivals, she opened for Rag’N’Bone Man and P!nk. Inspired by Marvin Gaye and Joni Mitchell, she debuted with “Habit” in 2017.
Making a statement about trying to move on from always placing other people’s needs above your own, her new single trades the R&B of her previous singles for an indie-rock sound. Taken from her upcoming album “Across The Room”, expected on February 24th, the track starts with an acoustic guitar and jazzy vocals, before erupting in an energetic retro-rock mist and making it truly irresistible.

Written as a love letter to band member Daniel Jones’ girlfriend, who apparently is an amazing singer, but won’t sing in front of the band, their new single is a 60s-inspired psych-pop groove.
