Born as Sadie Jean Wilcox in California, this rising singer and songwriter already asked her sister to write down song ideas at the age of 3. She started piano lessons aged 6 and also begin writing her songs. She’s studying at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music and will open for Johnny Orlando. Inspired by Joni Mitchell, Taylor Swift and Phoebe Bridgers, she debuted with “WYD Now?” in 2021.
Covering the complex emotions deriving from a past lover wanting to reconnect, but not making the effort, her new single captures relatable lyrics in a haze of an elegant soft melody.
