Momo Boyd – “Big Country”

Born in Detroit, this singer and songwriter began performing with her musical family at the age of 5. Also proficient on guitar and bass, music truly is in her blood. She started her career busking in New York as a member of Infinity Song, a soft-rock and soul band she formed with her siblings, catching he attention of Jay-Z. Fusing soul, R&B, rock, gospel and jazz and inspired by artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Lauryn Hill and Donny Hathaway, she debuted solo with “American Love Story” in 2025.

Bringing an ode to pure, heartfelt love, her new single narrates the persistent search for a genuine connection with a true partner. Taken from her recently released debut EP “Miss Michigan”, the song follows a journey through the USA in pursuit of love. Wrapped in an authentic instrumentation, blending folk, country and Americana with a touch of soul, it’s the lively rhythm, weathered acoustic guitars and comforting vocals that make this boot-stompin’ groove emit an organic warmth.
