Hailing from Quebec, this Canadian singer-songwriter grew up in the foster care system. Music was her way to escape her reality. She began singing at a young age in church choirs and school ensembles. Learning through school music programs initially, she did get professional voice training later. Now based in Los Angeles, she performed at Breaking Sound LA and The Hotel Cafe. Inspired by Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera and Stromae, she released her debut “Can’t Be Your Friend” in 2023.
With liberating lyrics about choosing personal peace over ongoing drama and toxic relationships, her new single is a celebration of leaving the chaos behind and moving forward to a brighter future. Blending electro-pop with some cinematic flair, this song adds a bit of glitter to the polished production. Opening with sweet strings, it’s the luscious synths, mid-tempo rhythm and her dynamic vocal tone ranging from ethereal to confident that fill this empowering groove with resilience.
