Drew Davies – “You’re The Only One”

Yorkshire-born and Glasgow-based, this British singer and songwriter grew up in a music-loving family with a piano playing grandmother and a singing mom. After a move to London he played in bands like The Mercy House and performed at festivals like Download and Bloodstock. Inspired by Queen, King Crimson and Iggy Pop, he debuted his solo alt-rock sound on “Man On The Run” in 2019.

Showing off his main influences like Bruce Springsteen and David Bowie, his new single is certainly dipped in the retro rock vibes. Taken from his upcoming album “Holloway Nights”, expected on January 26th, it’s the driving beat, soaring electric guitars and hazy synths that form the impassioned atmosphere. And with his vivacious, Bowie-esque vocal power, this stirring tune sounds electrifying.

Camila Knight – “Gone Away”

Born in Barcelona, this electric UK-based Spanish singer and songwriter grew up in a music-loving house and loved singing along to her favorite songs. At 9 she sang in a local church and participated in various song contests. She learned to play piano and later studied at L‘AULA Berklee College of Music. Inspired by Alicia Keys, Whitney Houston and Eva Cassidy, she released her debut “Angels” in 2020.

Filled with inspirational optimism and a reminder to see each day as a fresh opportunity for change, her new single is shrouded in anthemic nostalgia. With an intricate blend of electronic sounds with a touch of R&B and cinematic opulence from the imposing percussion, warm bass and orchestral synths, it’s her alluring vocals that guide the listener through her dreamy, spine-tingling soundscape.
