Born in Australia and now based in the UK, this vibrant singer and songwriter has been on the music scene for over a decade. She grew up listening to the likes of Angelique Kidjo, Roxy Music and INXS. As well as writing songs for other artists, she’s fronted Goldroom and later performed with Flight Facilities on their North American Tour. She debuted her solo sound on “Blue Lake” in 2013.
With deeply personal lyrics telling the story of finding peace in a dreamworld, but feeling scared of life after waking up, her new single travels musically from a sleepy state to a vivid soundscape. Taken from her album “Death Of A Cloud”, the track starts mellow, slow and enchanting, before waking up with a Fleetwood Mac-like vitality. And with her verdant vocals, this luscious jam is a sonic dream.
