Cherise – “Secrets”

Based in London, this gifted British songstress always wanted to become a singer. She studied jazz at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire Of Music and plays viola and flute. Since she’s performed at jazz festivals and at BBC Proms in the Royal Albert Hall. In 2019 she also won Jazz FM Vocalist Of The Year. Inspired by Marvin Gaye, Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald, she released her debut “Paradise” in 2019.

Telling the story about being brave enough to be yourself completely with a lover and not keep secrets out of fear, her new single is a genuine and passionate piece of sonic art. Giving the silky-smooth jazz foundation a touch of soul and a dollop of R&B, the song is driven by a mellow rhythm and enriched with shimmering keys. And with her sirenic voice putting a spell on you, this tune is utter bliss.
