Mazie – “Are You Feeling It Now”

Baltimore-born and L.A.-based, this colorful singer and songwriter studied classical and jazz singing from an early age, singing opera by the age of 10. Her path became truly clear when she met her producer and friend Elie Rizk at 15. Since then she’s had a song featured in Netflix’s “Do Revenge” and opened for COIN. Inspired by The Beatles and Janis Joplin, she released her debut “No Friends” in 2020.

Exploring the bright kaleidoscopic colors of psychedelic pop, her new single creates its own sonic dimension. Taken from her debut album “Blotter Baby”, it’s a multi-layered soundscape, constructed from various influences. Freddie Bailey – “Want You To Want Me”

Hailing from Tamworth, this gifted Australian singer and songwriter has been playing guitar since he was 9. At 14 he started busking during the Tamworth Country Music Festival and since graduated from The Talent Development Project. He’s opened for country acts Fanny Lumsden and The Bushwackers and, in 2022, entered The Voice Australia reaching The Battles. He released his debut “Run” in 2022.

Taking a sonic detour from his original country sound, his new single is a smouldering taste of indie-pop goodness. Singing about being in love with someone, hoping they feel the same, the track starts with mild synths and his heartfelt vocals, before pure passion ignites in the chorus. With a fiery beat and swelling guitars adding a richness to the melody, this intoxicating tune is all you could want.

Angela Saini – “It’s OK”

Based in Toronto and born to an Austrian mom and Indian dad, this Canadian singer and songwriter has been singing all of her life. However, it wasn’t until she bought a guitar aged 15 that her path became clear. At 16 she was part of a band. Inspired by the likes of Amanda Marshall and Garth Brooks, she debuted solo on her EP “Cake And Callouses” in 2012 and won a Toronto Independent Music Award in 2017.

Initially written as her own therapy in a difficult time in her life, assuring herself that it’s OK not to be OK and to accept herself, her new single engulfs her honest lyrics in a good-natured blend of country, folk-pop and rock. With joyous vibes from the steel guitar, sprightly drums and her empowering vocals, as well as an unexpected piece of rap, this jaunty, debonair tune is definitely more than OK.

Luca Fogale – “Proof”

Born in Burnaby, BC, this Canadian singer and songwriter didn’t grow up in a particularly musical household, but it entered his life when he started piano lessons aged 7. It wasn’t until university, where he studied psychology, that a passion for music emerged. Since then he’s opened for Dermot Kennedy and, inspired by Nick Drake, Jeff Buckley and Joni Mitchell, debuted with his album “Safety” in 2016.

Bringing an ode to unconditional love and the possibilities that it brings, his new single shows his vulnerable side. Digging deep into your soul with a gentle sensitivity, he forms a soft-edged soundscape. With a mellow acoustic piano guiding his mesmerizing voice through the song, soon the added drums ascend with passion. Returning to a delicate tenderness, this is proof of his amazing artistry.

Asta – “Ahhh”

Born as Asta Evelyn Binnie-Ireland in Cygnet, Tasmania, this Australian singer and songwriter grew up surrounded by music. She started busking on the streets at the age of 7. Inspired by Whitney Houston, Gwen Stefani and Chaka Khan, she debuted with “Escape” in 2012. Her second single “My Heart Is On Fire” won Triple J’s Unearthed High. She also opened for Ellie Goulding and Cosmo’s Midnight.

Returning after a 4 year hiatus and produced by Cosmo’s Midnight, her new single is an invigorating sonic trip back to yesteryear. Generously doused in neon 80s sparkles, it’s the sizzle of the synths, the bounce of the beat and the funky vibes that create an irresistible groove. And with her silky, soaring vocal flair dancing over the melody, this retro-dipped track just oozes pastel-colored nostalgia.

Katie Boeck – “Over Again”

Hailing from L.A. and now Nashville-based, this singer and songwriter has already had quite a varied career. She graduated UCLA’s Theater program, toured India with a Bollywood band, starred in the musical Spring Awakening in New York and had her music featured on TV Series The Newsroom and Love Island. Inspired by Joni Mitchell‘s flair, she released her debut EP “Speaking Of You” in 2014.

Singing about accepting your past and using it to become a better person, her new single is an intricate tapestry. Taken from her upcoming album “Calico”, expected on April 28th, it’s the enchanting quality of her phenomenal vocals that take centre stage.
