Hailing from Hackney, this British singer-songwriter first picked up a guitar aged 10 and started writing songs. Soon after she stopped again, returning to music at 17. She began busking on the streets of London, where she was noticed by Idris Elba, who included her on his Yardie Mixtape. Inspired by Corinne Bailey-Rae, Tracy Chapman and Amy Winehouse, she debuted with “The Way” in 2021.

Singing about having a person who’s doing the most for your attention, despite that not being what is needed, her new single embraces that sweet classic soul sound with R&B and a touch of modernity. Lowgo – “Addict”

Born in Montreal as David Lotey-Goodman, this Canadian producer and musician started developing a passion for music from 2 years old, when he got a toy piano as a gift. He started piano lessons and played with jazz ensembles. As a producer he’s worked with artists like Lou Phelps. Inspired by Kanye West and Flume, he blended EDM with hip-hop and R&B and debuted with “Piano Roots” in 2015.

Collaborating with Los Angeles-based artist and producer Joseph Tilley, his new single tells the story about how love can be addictive. With sun-soaked vibes radiating from the notes, it’s the playful bass line and jaunty rhythm that lay the foundation for the joyous synths to shine their glitter onto the neon tune. And with a rich, 80s-infused aesthetic, this electro-pop gem is a sleek, sunlit sparkler.

Formed by keyboardist Mike Desroches and skilled singer-songwriter Mystina, this duo has already made their mark on the music scene. Mike fronted a Chick Corea Fusion band and traveled with the Skynyrd Legends Tour. Mystina has R&B in her blood and performed for Michael Jackson in 2002. Inspired by the likes of Janelle Monáe and Earth, Wind & Fire, they debuted with “What Do You Do” in 2020.

Leven Kali – “Tears Of Joy”

Born in The Netherlands and raised in Santa Monica, California, this singer, songwriter and producer seemed destined for a musical career. His father, Jerry ‘Wyzard’ Seay, was a founding member of the band Mother’s Finest. As a teen he was already collaborating with Drake and Playboi Carti. Inspired by Parliament Funkadelic, The Ohio Players and Ty Dolla $ign, he debuted with “Joy” in 2016.

Recorded in an old-school manner, with three vocalists on one microphone singing harmonies, this track is a flavorful blend of classic soul and 90s R&B. Taken from his EP “Let It Rain”, it’s the pulsating R&B beat and a booming bass that instantly draw you in, before it unfolds into a jubilant chorus of soulful smoothness.
