The Daybreaks – “Dream Queen”

The four members of this Nashville-based Indie-Pop band got together by accident in 2015. Kaleb Jones and Heather Bond had been writing songs together, which they recorded for fun with Bobby Holland and Adam Bokesch and discovered pure magic. They’ve played famed festivals such as SXSW and even a concert on an airplane. Their debut single “The Machine” was released in 2016.

Grooving in the glittery shine of a mirrorball, their latest Indie-Pop single borrows elements from 80s-style disco vibes, as well as the Synth-Pop sound of the neon decade. An electronic beat leads to a funky rhythm from the voltaic synths and electric guitar plucks, gelling together into a jaunty Neo-Disco jam with easy-going vocals, which feels at home in both a modern club as a retro discoteque.
