Nathan O’Regan – “Follow You Down”

Hailing from Cork and born into a very musical family, this Irish singer and songwriter got gifted a guitar as a young lad and was taught the initial chords by his mother. When he was sixteen his voice and songwriting was spotted by Universal, who offered him a record deal, only to be dropped while working on the album. His talent however is growing from strength to strength. Inspired by Marc Cohn, Jackson Browne and Billy Joel, he released his debut “Like Never Before” in 2023.

Filled with a nostalgic melancholy and delightful vintage soul, this single is his interpretation of the 2013 Ciaran Lavery song. Taken from his upcoming EP “Uncovered Vol.1”, expected on August 30th, the mellow soundscape is a journey back to the 60s. With a retro beat, soul-infused guitars and understated horns laying down the wistful melody, it’s his slightly husky, emotion-ladened vocals that capture both a light-heartedness as sheer romantic passion in this classic gem.

Lila Holler – “Not Mad”

Dividing her time between the UK and the USA, this award-winning indie-pop singer and songwriter’s musical journey started when she was gifted an old guitar aged 14. Teaching herself how to play and to write songs, she honed her skills at the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan and is now studying songwriting and performance at LIPA in the UK. Inspired by a wide of range of artists like Phoebe Bridgers, The Marias and FKA Twigs, she released her debut single “Up&Out” in 2023.

Beautifully describing the honeymoon phase of a relationship, in which you just lose yourself in each others eyes, her new single is a romantic daydream put to music. With a calming melody gently ebbing and flowing, the song starts with smooth keys and a tranquil acoustic guitar. Joined by a soft drum and a hint of a harmonica, the track finds the perfect balance between mellow ballad and a poppy feel. And with her blissful vocals, this magical tune radiates romance from every note.
