Theresa Gorella – “Silence”

Raised in California and now Nashville-based, this singer and songwriter grew up listening to country music. After attending Long Island University in Brooklyn, she moved to Nashville. There she formed a rock/funk band called Poster Child. Wanting to reconnect with her country roots and inspired by Vince Gill, Beth Hart and Chris Stapleton, she debuted solo with “House Of Broken Mirrors” in 2023.

Exploring the complexities of superficial relationships, her new single is an expertly balanced fusion of soul and Americana with her country roots. With a classic soulful rhythm, a touch of bright organ and retro electric guitars creating a welcoming soundscape, it’s her sparkling vocals and the fiery chorus that turns this invigorating neo-soul groove into an dynamic and charismatic sonic experience.

The Goodies – “Runnin'”

Founded by Justin Goodman and Zan, this San Diego-based duo blends a wide range of genres, from reggae and pop to R&B and folk. Initially making music as Jus Goodie, they released the album “On Time” in 2015, followed by a slew of singles. Recently they’ve been dropping videos of their own take on songs by Queen, Bob Dylan and Nirvana. They debuted their new moniker on “The Maze” in 2023.

Inspired by Zan’s own journey trying to break free from bad situations by taking to the road in a ’73 VW bus, their new single tells an universal story of self-discovery and forging a new path. Taken from their upcoming debut EP, expected in January 2024, the spirited track is driven by an infectious reggae beat, avid guitars and fierce horns. And with passionate vocals, this groove is an eclectic gem.
