Becky Crosby – “Love Like Medicine”

Hailing from Montclair, New Jersey, this diverse singer and songwriter started performing with her music school at the age of 9. At 14 she moved to a performing arts high school, focusing on studying classical voice. She’s recently completed her vocal jazz studies at Purchase College. Inspired by artists like Paramore, Miley Cyrus and Silk Sonic, she debuted her eclectic musical mix on “Ghost” in 2019.

Despite taking a slightly darker approach to a love story in the lyrics, her new single is a fun-loving and infectious song. Instantly captivating from the very first note, the track bursts onto your eardrums with a delicious funky horn section and a bouncy rhythm. And with her jazzy and soulful vocal blend complimenting the upbeat melody, this snazzy groove is an exciting funkalicious adventure.

Jake Huffman – “Babe”

Connecticut born and raised, this multi-talented singer, songwriter and producer was already performing with his band McLovins aged 14. Their YouTube video covering You Enjoy Myself” by Phish went viral and launched their careers. They’ve shared the stage with Blink-182 and BB King. Solo he wrote songs for Ed Sheeran and Leon Bridges and debuted his pop-rock sound on “The Layover” in 2019.

Highlighting the need to keep communicating in a relationship, his new single is a tasty amalgam of pop, rock and funk. Taken from his latest EP “Younger”,he starts painting a moody picture of an ethereal soundscape, but the upbeat, ecstatic pop chorus surprises and pulls your ears in a different direction. Modern with a retro vibe and with his skilled vocals, this vibrant tune is a sonic fantasy.
