Typh Barrow – “Doesn’t Really Matter”

Born in Brussels as Tiffany Baworowski, this Belgian songstress started early when she began playing piano aged 5 and writing her first song aged 12. Influenced by the music of classics such as Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye, as well as contemporary artists like John Legend and Jessie Ware, she shapes soul-infused pop, with jazz & blues hues. She released her debut single “Your Turn” in 2012.

Adding some gospel tones to her explosive soulful sound, her new single is a spectacular auditory fireworks display. With a slight touch of Tom Jones’ “Sexbomb”, the lively rhythm and electronic guitar strums instantly take a backseat to her raw and passionate vocal prowess, which takes your eardrums by storm. D’Sound – “Powerful”

Formed in 1993, this Oslo-based trio progressed from rehearsing in a damp basement to becoming a major player on the Norwegian music scene. With their distinct fusion of acid jazz, soul, funk and pop, they debuted with “Real Name” in 1996, which hit the pop charts. In March 2019 they took part in the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, finishing third with “Mr. Unicorn”.

Taken from their eighth album “Unicorn”, their new single is filled with an abundance of auditory appeal. From the mellow rhythm to the warmth of the synths, the seductive vibes of this satiny smooth groove cuddle up to your eardrums, while the silky, flirtatious vocals of Mirjam Omdal add some sexy spice to this titillating taste of what majestic Norwegian soul & funk is supposed to sound like.

Levi Kreis – “Three Words”

This East-Tennessee native multi-talent grew up with the southern gospel sound of his idol Ray Charles. Furthering his musical education, he studied the stage presence and aural class of Brenda Lee, while traveling on her tour bus. He’s had his genre-spanning music featured in various films and TV shows and won a Tony Award for his role as Jerry Lee Lewis in “Million Dollar Quartet” on Broadway.

Highlighting the glory days of Motown with lively, gospel-dipped soul, his new single is bursting with vintage allure. Teasing his upcoming EP “Bad Habit”, expected to drop in 2020, the organic instrumentation of perky piano, bright organ, stirring rhythm and spirited brass create a bustling melody full of salubrious sunshine, while his classic soul-soaked vocals give it an exuberant glow of retro pizzazz.

Ciara Vizzard – “Is It Okay”

This globetrotting singer and songwriter was born in America, grew up in Paris, lived in Belfast, before settling near London. Her nomadic childhood fueled a plethora of experiences which found their way into her authentic lyricism. In 2017 she released her acclaimed debut EP “Fearless”. Influenced by Nat King Cole, as well as The Spice Girls, she wraps her lyrics in a melodious pop/soul blend.

Opening with smooth, enchanting guitar plucks, her new single is a ravishing R&B gem from the very first note. While the multi-layered, dynamic backing vocals line the aural atmosphere and the easygoing percussion gently bounces along, it’s her sublime, honey-dripping vocals that are putting a spell on your eardrums. Shookrah – “Notions”

The five members of this Irish synth-soul outfit created an unique sound that is nestled between R&B, Neo-Soul and Future-Soul. Influenced by the sounds of Thundercat, Solange and Anderson .Paak, they debuted with their EP “Implicit Content” back in 2014. They’ve shared a stage with Billy Ocean, headlined at Cork’s Quarter Block Party and are gearing up to go on a national and European tour.

Adding a sleek, funky vibe to their musical cornucopia of genre-spanning sounds, their new single is overflowing with vibrant luminosity. William Bolton – “Teasin'”

Hailing from Detroit, this singer, songwriter and producer was born with soul music in his veins. Growing up without a TV, he found his inspiration in the Motown soul of Marvin Gaye, The Supremes and Stevie Wonder. With his own musical blend, known as Electric Soul, he’s toured around Europe, got over 40 million streams and became a festival favorite. He debuted with “Let’s Stay Together” in 2013.

With a reverberating, electronic rhythm bouncing throughout the melody and scintillating synths adding a crisp freshness, his new single is a contemporary fusion of vitalizing pop, funk and soul.
