Binky – “Fireflies”

This bubbly singer/songwriter from London studied music, dance and drama from a young age. Although being a huge fan of all genres of music, she discovered a particular love for country rock. She went to Nashville for inspiration and, on returning to the UK, set out to create her own style by blending urban sounds with Nashville’s country flair.

Introducing her new, urban country style, her debut single bursts with energetic moxie and invigorating pizzazz. A bracing drum beat, exhilarating country guitar and an infectious, anthemic chorus create a vibrant and uplifting soundscape and with her charismatic, raspy and mesmerizing vocals, the song wraps itself around the listener and lights up the senses.

Loah – “Nothing”

The spirits of Haitian voodoo. Well, that’s one Loah, just not this one. This is Sallay Matu Garnett, a singer/songwriter of Sierra Leonean/Irish origin, who started classical violin training from an early age and adding piano as a teenager. After first collaborating with other artists and co-writing a song for the debut album of Hozier, she is now ready to dazzle as a solo-artist.

Her latest single is an alchemy of pop, soul and her phenomenally enchanting voice. Supported by a mere drum beat to start, her creamy, soulful vocals take center-stage, but it soon conjures up a glorious, upbeat pop chorus with a modern nu-disco feel and alluring orchestral violins adding a sense of opulence. It’s pure melodic magic, which will put you under her spell.

Sonia Stein – “Do You Love Me”

Born in Berlin, this globetrotting singer/songwriter has also lived in Warsaw, New York and Boston, but is now residing in Shoreditch, East-London. She started writing her own songs at 15 and grew into an impassioned, emotional story-teller. She released her debut EP “Symbol” back in 2014 and is currently opening for power songstress BETSY.

Her latest single is a sophisticated electro-pop song, dipped in some smooth 80s magic. Lyrically focusing on romantic insecurities and doubt, her vocals are emotive and sumptuous and by adding funky 80s-dipped synth action and a catchy beat, it has a bewitching and infectious vibe which, despite the heavier subject matter, makes this track feel uplifting and bright.

Lauren Lanzaretta – “Calm The Storm”

Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, this soul singer, songwriter and musician is a self-made artist. She had learned to play guitar and had been writing songs throughout her 20s, but it wasn’t until she started a Facebook page and emailing DJ’s that her dreams would start to come true. She dropped her debut album “Naked Soul” back in 2014 and she’s become a very active artist on the local scene.

As the basis for soul can be found in gospel, this is also true for her latest single. It’s a gorgeous, mesmerizing piano ballad, with pop, soul and gospel influences, which sounds honest and pure. Her deeply, emotionally-laden vocals have an almost hypnotizing quality and with the gospel backing of JABTUNE it gives the song a fragile, yet powerful edge.
