Shaun Farrugia – Jansen's Jamz

Based in London, this Maltese singer and songwriter grew up in a large family. Despite a challenging time in school due to an ADHD diagnosis, which resulted in relentless bullying, he sought refuge in songwriting. Apart from his own music, he collaborated with EDM artists like Martin Garrix and Alesso. He’s also played festivals such as Ultra Music in Miami and Kingsland in Amsterdam. Inspired by Coldplay, Keane and James Morrison, he released his debut “I Don’t Wanna Fall Asleep Yet” in 2022.

Reflecting on his personal journey, his new single captures the feeling of homesickness, difficulty dealing with success and finding his way home he dealt with along the way. Narrating his story from his humble beginnings, he envelops his lyrics in an intimate melodic warmth. Built around an emotional piano and leading to a sparkling chorus, the clean production is joined by a pulsating rhythm. And with his soaring vocals taking centre stage, this organic tune is an authentic sonic treasure.
