Andy Allo – “This Christmas”

Born in Cameroon and now residing in Sacramento, USA, this singer, songwriter, actress and model is no stranger to the funky side of R&B. After releasing her debut album “UnFresh” in 2009, she became a member of Prince‘s band The New Power Generation in 2011 and collaborated with him on three songs which appear on her second album “Superconductor” from 2012. Recently she released her festive EP “This Christmas”.

The title-track of the EP is filled with electro-R&B Christmas spirit. Stepping away from the traditional carol sound, it has a smooth groovy rhythm, funky synths and her delicate, silky vocals giving it a relaxing, serene vibe.
