Grown up in Newbridge, County Kildare, this Irish singer and songwriter studied songwriting at the BIMM Institute in Dublin. He went on to audition for renowned manager Louis Walsh, which earned him a place in the then newly-formed boy band HomeTown. After the band disbanded in 2016, he embarked on a solo career. Inspired by Counting Crows and Joni Mitchell, he debuted with “Sofa” in 2018.
Lyrically catching the moment when you have outgrown the wild, carefree parties of your youth, his new single navigates the changes which growing up inevitably bring with it. Starting slow with some bass plucks and his storytelling vocals, the track comes alive in the bouncy chorus. With a sunlit vibe from the added rhythm and fresh keys, this catchy tune is worth staying at home for.
