We Three – “She’s Got That”

Growing up in a small town near Portland, this trio of siblings has been playing music and performing since they were young. Consisting of Manny, Bethany and Joshua Humlie, they rose to fame when they entered America’s Got Talent in 2018, reaching the semi-finals. Inspired by diverse artists, such as Stevie Wonder, John Mayer and The 1975, they debuted with their self-titled album in 2018.

Exploring the euphoria exuded from feeling confident and embracing life’s adventure, their new single adds a little sass to their pop-rock stylings. Taken from their upcoming album “Love Me”, expected on July 21st, this upbeat track is driven by it’s funky rhythm. And with the zesty guitars, sprightly synths and frisky vocals, this infectious groove gives sparkling pop an insatiable funkalicious sonic layer.

ili – “Tongue Tied”

Born in Glasgow as Emily Middlemas, this Scottish singer and songwriter has been performing since the age of 9. At 13 she started writing her own songs. She auditioned for The X-Factor in 2014, reaching judge’s houses. Two years later she tried again, this time reaching 4th place. Inspired by Fleetwood Mac, Queen and Electric Light Orchestra, she debuted her new name on her single “A Little Bit” in 2019.

Describing the early stages of falling in love, when the butterflies are flying, but you’re not yet ready to proclaim your feelings out loud, her sparkling new single is an upbeat earworm. With an interesting fusion of retro 80s pop with modern elements, it’s the neon disco beat, luminous synths and an infectious bass line that serves as a vehicle for her refreshing, storytelling vocals to shine.
