Say She She – “C’est Si Bon”

Named as a nod to Nile Rodgers’ Chic, this Brooklyn-based disco-soul band transports you back to the era of flared jeans and glitterballs. The three front women Piya Malik, Nya Gazelle Brown and Sabrina Mileo Cunningham, all started as classical singers. Influenced by 60s girl groups, 70s disco and the 80s New York punk scene, the debuted their roaring discodelic sound on “Forget Me Not” in 2022.

Paying tribute to the Studio 54 vibes of the late 70s, their new single is a summery blend of Nile Rodgers and Giorgio Moroder influences. With rich, multi-colored dance-floor sparkles from the insatiable rhythm, crisp guitars and a cheeky bell creating the rousing disco groove and their flirtatious, sirenic vocals enticing you to move, this love-letter to the era’s nightlife is a flavorsome auditory treat.
