Emi Jeen – “Dancing In The Living Room”

Quebec-born and Montreal-based, this Canadian singer and songwriter started singing with her mom in clubs and taking classical singing lessons aged 10. After University she toured the world with girl band A.K.A. After the band split in 2015, she rebranded herself and started a solo career. Inspired by Mariah Carey, Lana Del Rey and Lauryn Hill, she released her debut “Won’t Let You Down” in 2015.

Celebrating the joyous feelings being in love conjures up, her new single is brimming with blissful sonic elation. Teasing you in with some cheeky guitar plucks, the song explodes with an ecstatic euphoria in the chorus. With a pounding drum, bouncy bass and sprightly guitars laying down an invigorating pop bop, it’s the exuberant energy of her vocals that’ll having you dancing around as well.
