Based in Vancouver, this Canadian singer and songwriter grew up in a very musical family. Thanks to his mother, who was a gospel singer, music was part of life. He started learning piano aged 5, guitar aged 13 and later adding drums. Also an actor, he’s starred in TV series like Riverdale and Arrow. As a musician he’s played festivals like Reeperbahn and Halifax Pop Explosion and venues such as Paradiso. Inspired by Paul Simon, Bon Iver and James Taylor, he released his debut “Deaf” in 2009.
Celebrating the rarity of a lasting bond between lifelong friends, his new single honors those friends who are always there for you no matter the distance. Taken from his upcoming album “Harbour”, expected on November 27th, the song is built on an organic acoustic indie-folk sound. Filled with joyous, uplifting vibes, it’s the lustrous guitar, lively drums and elated horns that inject a joyful euphoria. And with his warm, conversational vocals, this jubilant tune is a triumph.
