Born in Utah, this singer and songwriter grew up in a music-loving household with two visually impaired parents. Her dad Chris Dodds was an athlete playing for the US Paralympic Goalball Team. A Shania Twain concert aged 9 sparked her drive to become an artist and she began vocal and piano lessons shortly after. She was a contestant on America’s Got Talent 2020, reaching the Top 10. Inspired by Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Sabrina Carpenter, she debuted with “Toxic” in 2025.
Singing about embracing a passionate summer romance, her new single recognises the futility of trying to run from your feelings for someone special. Wrapped in a sunlit, high-energy melody, this catchy pop song is a fast-paced sonic feast. Driven by clever layering of a rhythmic pulse and radiant synths, this tune mimics the sensation of running. And shifting away from her country roots, it’s her bright pop vocals that turn this lively groove into a celebration of summery love.
