Based in Perth, this Australian singer and songwriter has been making her mark on the indie soul-pop scene, together with a four-piece band. They’ve played prominent festivals such as Nannup Festival and RTRFM Winter Music Fest in 2023 and supported artists like Joan & The Giants and Dulcie. Inspired by Florence + The Machine, Carole King and Fleetwood Mac, she released her debut single “She” in 2019.
Singing about the postive impact of surrounding yourself with supportive and uplifting friends, their new single is a ray of sonic sunshine. Taken from their upcoming EP “A Change In The Wind”, expected on March 14th, the track opens with a retro-touched piano and brass combo. Evolving with a mild rhythm and fresh tambourine, it’s her enchanting vocals that radiate the warm Australian summer.

Born in Burlington and raised in Toronto, this Canadian singer and songwriter grew up immersed in the 60s and 70s music her parents used to play. However it was a love of books, from Ray Bradbury to C.S. Lewis, that influenced her songwriting skills. Inspired by artists such as Linda Ronstadt, Stevie Nicks and Neil Diamond, she debuted her pop, folk and rock mix on “Westward Like The Sun” in 2019.
Although she meant to write a song about the sadness she felt after her father’s cancer diagnosis, her new single actually radiates light and hope. Drawing you in with a rolling beat and a rousing guitar riff, this track blends pop with a folky vibe. And with her intoxicating vocal artistry taking your ears to every end of the sonic spectrum, this alluring tune is a shining beacon when life gets tough.
