Only The Poets – “Every Song I Ever Wrote”
Based in Reading, this British quartet got formed when front man Tommy Longhurst wanted to play the Reading & Leeds festival as a band. Further consisting of Andy (Roo) Burge, Jarred Phillips and Marcus Yates, they’ve played sold-out headline tours and opened for Louis Tomlinson on his tour. Inspired by 90s britpop like Blur and Oasis as well as Twenty One Pilots, they debuted with “Ceasefire” in 2017.
Instantly grabbing our attention with a riveting ascending tone, their new single fuses retro sounds from 80s pop and 90s indie with a rich, contemporary production. The melody opens up with a bouncy beat, crisp guitars and a touch of shimmering synths. And with storytelling vocals adding a freshness to the melody, this groove blends new-wave and Britpop into modern guitar pop at its finest.

Natasha Blaine – “You Don’t Treat Me The Same”
Born and raised in Seattle, this sassy singer/songwriter started singing jazz at just 6 years young. She moved to Nashville in 2018, in order to study literature and vocal jazz at Vanderbilt University. It was there that she began writing and performing original music. Inspired by artists such as Norah Jones, Amy Winehouse and Ella Fitzgerald, she debuted with her EP “I Fall In Love Too Easily” in 2021.
Balancing a delectable blend of various genres, an upbeat vibe and emotive lyrics, her new single is a summery sonic treat. While holding true to her jazzy roots, she’s injected some funky guitars, classic keys and soulful horns to create the perfect melodic brew. And with her velveteen vocals singing about denying that a relationship is falling apart, this retro-sounding groove is an auditory triumph.
