Lake Malawi – “Lucy”

Founded by lead vocalist Albert Černý in 2013, this indie-pop trio from the Czech Republic released their debut single “Always June” in 2014. They played several festivals such as Rock For People and The Great Escape, and opened for the likes of The Kooks, Mika and Thirty Seconds To Mars. In 2019 they reached the 11th place at the Eurovision Songcontest in Tel Aviv with the song “Friend Of A Friend”.

And the Eurovision influences continue on their joyous new single. Co-written by Austria’s entry Cesar Sampson and co-produced by Norway’s JOWST, they douse elated indie-pop with their signature 80s-soaked sound. Inspired by the fun they had with a cardboard cut-out of host Lucy Ayoub in Tel Aviv, it’s the sparkling neon synths, bright guitars and a sunlit rhythm that make this a slick pop jam.

Molly. – “Change Your Mind”

Hailing from Lancaster, this eloquent British songstress got bitten by the musical bug aged 10, when she started learning to play the guitar. In her teens she began gigging at a multitude of festivals around the UK and Ireland, catching the attention of BBC Introducing. Inspired by artists such as KT Tunstall and Kate Bush, she debuted her expressive sound on her single “Something More” in 2019.

Despite lyrically highlighting a serious subject such as the realization that you’ve been spending lots of time with a person without truly knowing them at all, her new single manages to encapsulate the story in sprightly pop vibes. The acoustic piano, infectious handclaps and the upbeat rhythm create a catchy melody for her rejuvenating vocal artistry to claim its rightful place in the auditory limelight.

Monique Klemann – “Running Up A River”

Born in Amsterdam, this sensational Dutch songbird’s successful career began in the 80s, when she formed the award-winning band Loïs Lane, which reached commercial success as well as having toured with Prince in the early 90s. While still in existence today, she took a blend of pop, soul and jazz and started exploring a solo career, leading to the release of her debut solo album “On Patrol” in 2006.

With a radiant rhythm and refreshing guitars painting a silky, ear-stroking soundscape, her new single effortlessly blends pop with delightful jazzy hues. Taken from her upcoming album “Lovers In Motion”, expected on March 6th, it’s the vintage Californian vibes and her bewitching vocals that radiate elegance and style. Smooth, laid-back and yet exciting, this is a sonic river of pure sophistication.

Fonkynson ft. Desiire – “Mind Games”

Originally from France, this DJ and producer was first influenced by his father’s music, like Jimi Hendrix and The Rolling Stones. As he grew up he developed a taste for electro styles, such as house, drum ‘n’ bass and techno. Now based in Montreal, he introduced his future-disco-house sound on his 2008 debut EP “So Damn Fresh”. His first full-length album “#followme” was released in 2016.

Featuring the contemporary soul-infused stylings of R&B vocalist Desiire, his new single fluently blends electronic acrobatics with some funkalicious seasoning. With a punchy beat serving as the melodic backbone, it’s the sweltering, disco-flavored synths that give a future-house basis its delectable vintage flair. Seductive, catchy and fresh, this jam is one groovy game you won’t mind playing.

Ntjam Rosie – “Sailing Out”

Born in Cameroon, this stunning Dutch vocalist and musician spent the first nine years of her life hearing the beat of the drums, singing in church and falling in love with music. After moving to The Netherlands she took singing lessons and studied at Codarts School For The Arts in Rotterdam. With her own blend of jazz, soul, pop and afro grooves, she debuted with her 2008 album “Atouba”.

Floating on a sea of sultry soundwaves, the multitude of various influences on her new single puts a gentle breeze in her sails. It’s smooth and jazzy, but also groovy and soulful, while still including her signature African vibes. Shimmering in pure auditory beauty, it’s the multi-layered melody and her enchanting, Sadé-reminiscent vocals that discover a tranquil ocean of musical magic to sail out on.

Uché ft. Bootsy Collins – “Whatever”

Born as Uchechukwu Walter Ndubizu-Egwin-Okoli in Sugar Land, TX, this impassioned performer found his calling when he saw High School Musical aged 11. Since he sang in choirs and learned to dance from his family in Nigeria. His rise to fame came as a top 10 contestant on Season 17 of American Idol. Influenced by Michael Jackson, Prince and Freddy Mercury he blends pop with a dynamic funkiness.

Enlisting the vast talent of the original funkateer Bootsy Collins, his sassy debut single is a powerful funkadelic trip. Cooking some R&B with a touch of hiphop, a spoonful of pop and a smidgen of 70s disco, all generously marinated in funky flavors and served with an abundance of pizzazz, it’s a delicious sonic snack. And with his Larry Blackmon-like vocal vitality, this is an exceptional funkalicious jam.
