In The Spotlight

Jillian Rossi – “Hurt Again”

Hailing from Long Island, this unique singer/songwriter is an alumni of the renowned Berklee College of Music. She’s played in front of and is mentored by legendary artist Billy Joel, allowing her to pursue her dreams at a young age. Attempting to bring the emphasis back onto the vocalist in pop, she’s inspired by the likes of Bebe Rexha and Demi Lovato and debuted with “txt me when u get here” in 2019.

Exploring the vulnerability and the passionate emotions that come with heartbreak, her new single showcases her striking songwriting dexterity. First she captures our attention with an emotive acoustic piano and her alluring voice, soon the intensity increases with a zealous rhythm, vivid strings and her powerful vocals. Graceful, authentic and full of life, this jam wants to be heard again and again.
