In The Spotlight

Lisabel – “Flor de Louis”

Born as Lisabel Biscaldi in Italy, this London-based singer and songwriter embraced music after she started taking piano and voice lessons as a teen. She attended various music schools including BIMM London and Berklee College of Music in Boston. Inspired by artists from Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder to Jill Scott and D’angelo, she debuted her rich soul, jazz and pop blend on “Green Jade” in 2018.

Dedicating the song to her relationship and bond with her brother, her new single is a sonic odyssey through a variety of musical elements. Starting with a smooth jazz vibe from the laid-back rhythm, mellow keys and her silky vocals, the song progresses to a funk-laden bass, lively beat and sparkling synths. Personal, unpredictable and incredibly magical, this spellbinding jam is extraordinary.
