Based in Los Angeles, this singer and songwriter spent her childhood growing up in London, Beijing, Sydney and Kuala Lumpur. Born to French and Spanish parents, she was exposed to a wide range of cultural and musical influences. Initially signed to Mark Ronson’s label, Zelig Records, she’s now an independent artist. Inspired by Lady Gaga and Prince, she debuted with “Bullying Boys” in 2020.
Written at a Melbourne airport gate while she was feeling particularly blue, her new single tells her to wait it out until brighter times arrive. Injecting some danceable fun into a melody, the track starts with a retro-touched guitar and an bouncy beat, before releasing its sonic sparkles in the buoyant chorus. And with her crisp and impassioned vocals, this bubbly groove is definitely worth waiting for.
