Roberta Battaglia – “Truce”

Born in Toronto into a musical family, this gifted Canadian singer and songwriter started singing at the age of three, performing with her dad Alessandro Battaglia. At 9 years young she performed Lady Gaga’s “Shallow” on Toronto’s Breakfast Television which went viral. She’s also a golden buzzer winner on season 15 of America’s Got Talent. As an actress she debuts in “Three Pines” on Amazon Prime Video.

Lyrically chronicling the pain and hurt she encountered in her school years, her debut single highlights the need to put an end to negativity from our past and turn it into something positive. With an ascending melody of crisp piano and imposing drums reaching a crescendo in the infectious chorus, it’s her slightly country-esque, soaring vocals that turn this pop debut into an extraordinary jam.
