Born in Miami, this singer and songwriter began immersing himself in the vinyl collection of his dad from a young age. Also a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, he plays guitar, bass, keyboard and drums. He started playing with soul outfit Ketchy Shuby, with whom he played for 13 years. Since going solo he’s played venues such as The Moroccan Lounge and The Observatory. Inspired by Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye and Michael Jackson, he released his debut single “Rose Gold” in 2018.
Written as a tribute to the legendary radio host Art Laboe, his new single celebrates the golden age of call-in radio shows and feeling love and connection as a whole. Taken from his recently released album “Terapia”, this sleek song envelops nostalgia in a sumptuous latin-soul melody. With a sweet rhythm, vintage organ and crisp horns radiating a luscious sonic warmth, it’s the balance of conversational vocals and a soft, velvety tone that makes this heartfelt groove sound timeless.
