Luna Soul – “Down The Line”

Splitting their time between Barcelona and Schwerin, Germany, this duo got together in 2019 when German artist Lisa Michèle Lietz and Spanish guitarist Jordi Arnau Rubio met. Lisa had studied Musicology and Music Psychology at university, while Jordi had travelled around Europe as a professional dancer. Since then they’ve played venues like the Tempo Club and the Drop Inn, and the LetschRock Festival. Inspired by Michael Kiwanuka and Chic, they debuted with “Higher” in 2019.

Capturing the bittersweet emotions invoked by a late-night drive through an ever-moving bustling cityscape, their new single is a lyrical portrait of change and navigating the modern world. Taken from their upcoming album “Second Nature”, expected on October 30th, this song is a sleek blend of disco-pop, modern electronic elements and West-Coast vibes from the crisp rhythm, funk-fuelled bass and shimmering synths. And with her soulful vocals, this tune is an irresistible groove.
