Corinna Jane – “I’m Not Ready Now”

This Franco-British singer and songwriter was born in Germany, but grew up in England and speaks English, French and German. With a passion for music, she started to play tunes on the piano by ear, before taking lessons aged 5. She’s been featured on BBC Introducing, as well as German station RBB 1 and played festivals in the UK and Germany. She debuted with her EP “Hard In Love” in 2015.

Drawing on deeply personal emotions following the death of her mother, her new single blends genuine and honest lyrics with an enchanting, piano-driven melody. Starting the song with just an imposing piano and her stirring vocals creates a heartwarming atmosphere and with the addition of a mellow beat and dynamic guitars, this earnest track reaches down and touches your soul.

Jeff Beadle – “Shadows”

This Canadian singer/songwriter was born into a music loving family and their encouragement led to him starting to write songs aged 12. He began to perform locally and creating various bands in High School. Continuing to write and perform, he took on a day job as a pool cleaner. Pouring his experiences into his lyrics and folk-inspired melodies, he debuted with “The Huntings End” in 2014.

Tackling his own struggles with anxiety, his new single shines a light on the shadows we all carry with us. With a vibrant rhythm and compelling guitars forging quite a poppy melody, he enriches the sound with mild touches of folk. And despite his dynamic vocal harmonies exploring the different levels of his anxiety and finding a willingness to let it go, this tune becomes a thrilling, foot-tapping jam.
