Peter Wise ft. Tiger Darrow – “Can’t Do It Alone”

Based in Brooklyn, New York, this singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer is no stranger to the music scene. He’s shared the stage with The Eagles and collaborated with Chicago and Mali Music, as well as using his modern soul/pop blend and contemplative lyricism for his own sophisticated music. His debut EP “Without You Here” was released in 2016, which earned him worldwide attention.

Enlisting the vocal talents of songstress Tiger Darrow, his latest single is a flirtatious lovers dialogue set to music. A breezy guitar and laid-back percussion create an amorous atmosphere, leading to an upbeat chorus in which the two vocals intertwine. The vitalizing pop melody with a slight country twist, serves as a seductive, rose-petal thrown foundation for a rousing colloquy of two struggling lovers.

Molly Moore – “No Stress”

With a natural born musicality, this New York native singer and songwriter has been penning songs since she was 7 years old. She was raised by musical parents, who helped to shape her soulful, electro alt-pop style. Now based in Los Angeles she wrote songs for Felix Cartal and DubVision, released her debut solo EP “Shadow Of The Sun” in 2015 and is half of electro duo Cosmos & Creature.

Her latest single is seductive and joyous at the same time. The EDM backbone of the song is greatly enriched with genre-spanning elements, taking it from soft synth tones and whimsical fingersnaps, to a brazing beat, peppy guitar plucks and red-hot horns. Ladened with a message of hope and positivity, her enchanting, sexy vocals seem to entice the music, creating a beguiling, stressfree groove.

Bourbon Avenue – “Fighting With My Thoughts”

Created around the multi-talented singer, composer and drummer Marlon Pichel, this Dutch four-piece band has been impressing audiences with their ingenious blend of soul, Motown, funk and jazz, all laced with a touch of pop. Having extensively performed live and opening for Dutch soul singer Giovanca, they released their album “Livin’ & Lovin'” in 2016, which was received with rave reviews.

Taken from their EP “The Boston Recordings”, their latest single takes their soul-dripping sound to new heights. By infusing the buttery-smooth funky bassline with some emotive blues, they laid the basis for an exhilarating musical experience. The howling rock guitar, blazing brass and the raw, passionate vocals add an unexpected edge to its summery feel, making it a refreshingly seductive gem.

Born in Boulder, Colorado, this singer/songwriter was raised on a steady diet of classic rock, R&B and country/soul. She immersed herself in music, from Tom Petty to Mariah Carey, but it would be Shania Twain who lit the way to her edgy country/pop style. While initially posting covers on YouTube, she poured her creative lyrical skills and her musical prowess into fresh, original songs.

Proving that less is definitely more, her latest single combines upbeat pop with a touch of tasty country twang. Vibrant electric guitar plucks, frisky fingersnaps and a virulant beat is all she needs to forge an invigorating pop song with lots of bounce. Singing vividly relatable lyrics, her warm, yet powerful vocals glide over the melody, spawning a dynamic earworm you just can’t quit.

Nicki French – “Steal The Crown”

Born in Carlisle, this British songbird and actress extensively performed on the club circuit, before she rocketed to stardom with her version of Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse Of The Heart” in 1995. Several hit singles on, she represented the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000. Her last single “Teardrops (On The Disco Floor)” reached the top spot of the iTunes Vocal Chart in 2017.

Rob Drabkin – “It’s A Beautiful Day”

You don’t hear very often that the musical Chicago would change the life of a biochemist, but that’s what happened to this versatile singer and songwriter from Denver, Colorado. He decided to put aside his aspirations of becoming a doctor and focus on music full-time. Donning a signature 70s afro and playing his six-string acoustic guitar, his music is spirited electro-folk with a hint of rock.

The cinematic musicality of his latest single is intricate and anthemic. Starting slow with mild piano, gentle guitar strums and his formidable gravelly vocals, it soon ascends to a high-spirited, foot-stompin’ tune radiating pure positivity. With a bracing rhythm, ear-tingling harmonies and an uplifting chorus with some Grace VanderWaal-like vibes invoking auditory delight, it’s a beautiful day indeed.
