Emma Cole – “He Will”

Born near Philadelphia, this inspirational and resilliant songbird’s turbulent childhood, in which necessity had her grow up too fast, led to her losing herself for a while. Eventually she sought help and discovered that she had her medicine all along in the shape of music and singing. Inspired by legends such as Etta James and Janis Joplin, she soaked her single in the groovy vibes of the swinging 60s. Her vocals are powerful, yet deliciously silky and dance over the Motown-soaked harmonies, bouncy brass and a jumping beat with ease. By mixing the best of the 60s, she’s created an upbeat musical party with veracity and style, which will get you sock hopping all night long.
