OHAD – “Show Me”

Born in Israel and raised in Hong Kong, this singer and songwriter had an eclectic musical eduction spanning varied cultures. As a teenager he participated in singing competitions, winning Yrock POP in 2013. Upon returning to Israel after serving as a combat medic in the IDF, he studied at Rimon School Of Music and shared the stage with Israeli legends Yehoram Gaon and Shlomit Aharon.

Flavored with pastel-colored pop candy and spiced with soulful fun, his new single is bursting with a silvery sparkle. Taken from his upcoming debut EP by the same name, expected to drop in May, this jam is driven by a bouncy beat and shimmering keys and leads to a bubbly chorus. With bright harmonies and a happiness-inducing vibe, this joyous debut is filled with radiant exuberance.

BAXTR – “Grace On Fire”

This London-based trio, consisting of Floss Mackintosh, Bash Powers and Keiko Jackson, has been friends for over 10 years. Having shared a vision of making noise together, living post-Brexit and in the midst of a Pandemic seemed to offer the perfect opportunity. With a sonic brew of 80s pop, BritPop and 90s guitar bands, they debuted their flamboyant and empowering sound on “Bloom” in 2020.

Setting the scene with glistening synth cords and sugary vocals, their new single soon pours in the nostalgia and a sparkling buoyancy. With a rich, 80s-tinged pop melody, powerful rhythm and 90s rock guitars, this track narrates the helpless feeling that comes with seeing someone you love suffer. And with a flaming instrumental break soaring high above, this is an emotive slice of vital fun and power.

ELBA – “Sirens”

Born as Ellen Bathum, this multi-talented vocalist and songwriter is also involved with production, mixing and mastering. Hailing from Denmark, she captures the sound of Scandinavian pop at its finest. She’s played renowned festivals such as Roskilde and Spot. Influenced by the likes of Aurora, and Robyn, she introduced her empowering, emotive and lively synthpop sound on “Antidote” in 2018.

Enchanted by the roving rhythm and mellow synths and bewitched by her hypnotic voice, the listener gets lured into the melodic depths of her new single. Soon your heartbeat lines up with the pulse of the tune and you’ll become one with the song, while she vocalizes about everyday sexism and equality. Kai Straw – “Sugar”

Hailing from San Francisco, this singer and songwriter is not afraid of hard work. Every morning, he woke up at 5AM to spend time on his music, before going to his day job as a nightclub operator. Now pursuing his music full time, his diverse sound, forged by an eclectic mix of funk, hiphop, soul, R&B and pop, truly blossoms. His debut album, “The Tragedian’s Decoupage”, was released in 2011.

Steadily making its honey-coated entrance, his new single blends sugary sweetness with a diverse fusion of musical candy. With a staggered EDM approach as a vehicle into the song, soon a funky rhythm and electric guitar strums are drizzled over the melodic ice-cream, with his soul-dripping, falsetto vocals as the cherry on top. Exceedingly bad for your teeth, this sticky groove is utterly delicious.

Started in 2020, in the midst of a worldwide pandemic, this husband and wife duo tried to lift people’s spirits with their soulful, power-pop tunes. Jacob and Jasmine Mayeda hail from Southern-California and dedicated their first three releases to lyrically capturing their first year of marriage. Adding a touch of their native SoCal sunshine, they debuted with their disco-tinged single “Golden Sky”.

With a sleek disco rhythm, funkalicious guitar riffs and a neon, 80s vibe, their new single catches various musical elements and brings them together in a vintage-dipped, shimmering soundscape. Adam Douglas – “Build A Fire”

Growing up in Oklahoma, USA, this singer and songwriter draws inspiration from a tasty melting pot of music and culture, ranging from Howlin’ Wolf to Tom Petty and Ray Charles. A move to Norway in 2007 added another layer to his eclectic sound. He expertly mixes elements of soul, gospel, jazz, country, R&B and roots music and debuted his rich sound on the EP “Your One And Only Man” in 2013.

Dedicated to his wife and with genuine emotion and love running through its sonic veins, his new single blends lyrical authenticity with an ingenious brew of musical essences. Taken from his upcoming album “Better Angels”, expected on May 3rd, the primarily classic STAX-like soul is seasoned with a pinch of country zest. From the blazing horns to the hot 90s-styled guitar solo, this jam is on fire!
