Hannah Savage – “Do This”

Born and raised in Philadelphia, this multi-talented vocalist, songwriter, actress and dancer has been training since she was a child. Aged 11, she landed her first lead role playing “Annie” on stage. Trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre And Film Institute, she performs in cabarets and appears in the 2020 Discovery TV show “Dead Reckoning”. Musically she debuted her single “Feel Something” in 2019.

Shelving the musical theatre sound she loves and taking the best from early 2000s pop and classic Philly soul, her new single is a delicious broth of different influences. Welcoming you into her musical world with fanfare brass, soon you will meet the bobbing rhythm and mild keys. With her mighty, brazen vocals and the cheeky backing singers, this luscious jam is audacious and full of panache.

RIIKI – “Good Times”

Hailing from Welllington and born as Raquel Abolins-Reid, this multi-talented singer, songwriter, choreographer and dancer has been making her mark for years, going from mall talent shows to her high-school band, Retrospect, making it to the finals of the Smokefree Rockquest in 2016. Influenced by artists such as Jeff Buckley and Jorja Smith, she debuted her solo moniker with “One Day” in 2019.

Written by herself and capturing the whirlwind that was 2020 on the cusp of a brand new year, her latest single focuses on the message that after rough and stormy days, good times must follow. With a hypnotic beat and mild bass plucks she enchants your ears ready to be caressed by her beguiling voice. Charming and full of positivity, this groove is a sonic portrayal of the good times yet to come.

Myles Sanko – “Rainbow In Your Cloud”

Born in Ghana, this multi-talented singer, songwriter and musician, dubbed “the love child of soul”, moved to the UK aged 16. He worked as a chef, but quit his job to focus on busking with his jazz improv band Bijoumiyo. With his rich and colorful blend of pop, jazz and soul tones, he released his debut EP “Born In Black & White” in 2013 and also went on to support Gregory Porter on his 2014 European tour.

Starting with an intriguing funky drum and jazzy organ, his latest single is a highly skillful marriage of the delights of music. Taken from his upcoming album “Memories Of Love”, expected on March 12th, 2021, he added cheery electric guitar strums, while his remarkable, classic soul-soaked vocals take center-stage. And with an absolutely delicious jazz piano solo, this jam is an exhilarating fusion.

Farida – “Do About It”

Born in Norway with Algerian roots, this stunning singer and songwriter grew up immersed in music. Her parents introduced her to artists like Ray Charles, Whitney Houston and The Temptations, which she supplemented with Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake and Aaliyah. Making music since 2016 and supported by magazines such as Billboard and The Fader, she released her first EP “Solar Flare” in 2020.

Blending indie-pop with R&B flavors and occasionally dipping them in some vintage hues, her new single is expertly layered and flawlessly produced. The melodic atmosphere from the addictive beat and guitar strums are enticing, but it’s her silky-smooth vocals stroking every note which make this song extraordinary. Fresh, catchy and alluring, this jam is well-crafted musical magic.

Runaway June – “Christmas On The Radio”

Going back to the roots of country and adding a touch of bluegrass for good measure, these three songbirds have set the music scene on fire. Although Naomi Cooke, Jennifer Wayne and Natalie Stovall all had very different backgrounds, they were all enamored with country music. They’ve debuted with “Buy My Own Drinks” in 2018 and opened for the likes of Garth Brooks and Carrie Underwood.

Bring on the jingle bells and the jaunty fiddle and add a jolly twang, ’cause their new single is a festive country ditty that is pretty addictive. Taken from their EP “When I Think About Christmas”, it is brimming with anticipation and the smell of freshly baked gingerbread. Dancing around the room with Christmas music on the radio, this merry song is made of candy canes and Christmas cheer.

Duke & The Dry Cleaners – “Revolving Door”

Injecting the music scene with an unique shot of acid jazz in 2017, this London-based group came into existence, when lead vocalist, songwriter and producer Oli Duke began working in the studio with co-producer Arjun Doel. Lining acid jazz with layers of funk, soul and dance, they created a scintillating sound. Brought to life by a group of gifted musicians, they debuted with “I Want To” in 2020.

With a catchy rhythm and funky guitar strums creating an upbeat vibe, their new single is an unmitigated ear-teaser. Padding that exultant feel with some flavorsome synths, exuberant horns and Oli’s compelling vocals make this groove the perfect medicine for feeling down.
