Elliott Blaufuss – “Instantaneous”

This eclectic singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist started his career in Chanhassen, Minnesota, across the lake from Prince’s Paisley Park. Now Nashville-based, this masterful musician has been touring with Eric Hutchinson and Kelly Clarkson, while he puts the finishing touches on his upcoming third album. He primarily plays Funk and Soul, but he’s also versed in Country and Rhythm & Blues.

The funky influence of his Purple Highness runs through the veins of this exhilarating, high-energy groove. A sprightly bass line teases the electric guitar plucks, bouncing to life in the drum-rich chorus with bounteous agility, while his vitalizing vocals and multi-layered harmonies add some soulful zing. Although slightly tinted purple, it’s an exceptional piece of funkalicious goodness.

Tash Sultana – “SALVATION”

The gift of a guitar at the age of 3 sowed the seed which would lead to the long list of accomplishments of this extraordinary Australian artist. Proving her boundless virtuosity, she’s mastered over 15 instruments. She went from uploading homemade video’s to playing exhilarating sellout shows across multiple countries, winning various awards and having her single “Jungle” featured in FIFA 18.

Putting her unique reggae-rock sound firmly on the map, her latest single is a testament to her overwhelming talent. She wrote and produced the song, as well as having played every single instrument herself. A smooth, jazzy piano and mild beat create a hypnotic dimension for her enthralling, charismatic vocals to lead the way to a soaringly slick guitar solo, making it sound lavishly grand.

Natalie Shay – “Perfume”

Graduating from the BRIT School Of Music and having won multiple awards already is quite an achievement for this 19 year old, British singer and songwriter from London. With her bubbly indie-pop sound, she’s supported artists such as JP Cooper and Mullally and performed at London’s most renowned venues. Her previous single “This Feeling” reached number 4 on the iTunes charts earlier this year.

Her new single takes her modern and bouncy indie-pop sensibilities and adds some retro-tinted 80s electronics into the mix. The glistening quality of the dynamic synths and the catchiness of the rhythm generates an upbeat, summery glow, while her multi-layered, perky vocals provide warm sunshine to this peppy, happiness-inducing synth-pop delight with a wonderfully nostalgic 80s twist.

Ilang – “Magic”

This Scandinavian singer and songwriter kicked off his career in 2008 as the front man of the band The Benefits, which debuted with their EP “Seize The Day” a year later. After the band split in 2012, he wrote songs including one featuring Cee Lo Green. Influenced by Classic Motown soul, Earth, Wind And Fire-like funk and Michael Jackson pop, he released his soulful EP “Nothing And Then Some” in 2016.

With his name meaning “good travel partner” in Greenlandish, he takes us on a musical journey back to the glorious 80s. The neon-splashed beats and colorful synths create a powerful pop/funk palette of epic amplitude. His soulicious vocals and the poptastic punch of the lively, Michael Jackson-inspired, retro vibes, make it a swanky slice of vintage glitz with a dash of 80s glamour.

Claire Vandiver – “Summer Me Up”

Born in Nashville, this singer and songwriter grew up around music, as her dad is a guitar player and songwriter as well. They co-wrote and produced her songs together, as well as playing live venues, since she was 16. With her stunning, wide-ranging vocal chops, she feels comfortable singing both catchy, upbeat pop as a smooth, subdued, jazzy edge. In 2014 she released her debut single “Craze”.

Sunscreen and shades are essential for listening to her latest sun-drenched single. Hailing from Lexington, Kentucky, this seven-piece soul-funk outfit blends vintage inspirations of funk, soul, R&B and Rock ‘n’ Roll into an exceptional groovy auditory experience.
