Colleen Orender – “Love Me Harder”

Born in sunny Florida, this singer and songwriter began her career performing with the country act of her grandfather at the age of 5. Growing up on the blues of the likes of BB King, Etta James and Bonnie Raitt, she also fell in love with the jazz of Billie Holiday and Julie London. Now Nashville-based, she opened for Rick Springfield and released the festive “Blame It On The Mistletoe” in 2018.

Blending a fierce vintage blues with a hint of impassioned classic soul, her new single is a rousing force to be reckoned with. With a powerful soundscape of a mighty rhythm, sprightly piano and vigorous saxophone, it’s the grit in her hot and steamy vocals, singing about the differences between men and women’s libido as they age, that makes this blues powerhouse a jam you have to love.
