In The Spotlight

Delaney Jane – “Somewhere Else”

Hailing from Toronto, this Canadian singer & songwriter initially made a name for herself on the EDM scene. She made her first impression as a vocalist on Shaun Frank’s track “This Could Be Love” in 2014. Other collaborations include Oliver Heldens and KSHMR. She received Grammy and Juno nominations for “Limitless” by Adventure Club. In 2017 she switched to a pop sound with her debut “Howl”.

Coloring with a pastel pop palette, her new single takes 80 synth-pop and adds a sunlit sparkle. Kicking off with an ascending electronic rhythm and sleek synths, the track truly comes to life in the invigorating chorus. Reminiscent of the famous Swedish pop sound, this jam glistens from every beat. And with her bright and radiant vocals, this summertime anthem is a genuine earpleaser.
