In The Spotlight

DYLYN – “Find Myself”

Born as Gwendolyn Lewis, this Canadian singer and songwriter grew up listening to her fathers 70s records. In her school years she listened to vintage rock music and started her own band aged 17. Initially exploring dubstep as Guinevere, she decided to return to rock. Influenced by Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, she debuted her new sound and moniker with her 2018 EP “Sauvignon And A Kimono”.

Drizzling a slight pop sauce over a generous slice of raw rock, her new single serves up a mighty auditory dish. Taken from her upcoming EP “Make It Naked”, expected in 2021, she manages to marry the smoky and stylish pop verses with the pure grit of the rock chorus. From the reverberating beat to the howling guitars and the fresh synth touches, this sonic experience is a rocking triumph.
