In The Spotlight

JACE Carrillo – “The Rhythm Of Life”

Born and raised in Venezuala, this bi-lingual singer and songwriter got his passion for music singing at friend’s parties aged 5. He went on to teach himself how to play the keyboard and studied music theory. Now based in Montreal, Canada, he enriched his latin roots with R&B flavors. Influenced by the likes of Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars, he debuted with “Por Amar de Mas” in 2019.

Highlighting the turmoil of the political and humanitarian crisis in Venezuela and facing those demons on a daily basis, his new single still manages to sonically add sheer positivity. With a latin beat as a basis, he layered R&B and a touch of funk on top, all gelling together as a delicious, sanguine jam. Taken from his debut album “JACE”, every joyful note is filled with the promise of a better tomorrow.
