Bella Hudson – “Look Like That”

No stranger to the limelight, this Nashville-based singer and songwriter performed a self-written acoustic song for 10,000 people at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival aged 11. She became a regular performer for many years, leading to her giving a TEDx talk in Boulder at the age of 13. Since she’s performed all over the country and opened for the likes of Trace Adkins, Wynonna Judd and Midland.

Giving smooth contemporary pop a layer of emotive country twang, her debut single introduces the very best of her unique sound. Creating a flirtatious melodic realm with crisp guitars, sweltry percussion and a touch of steel guitar, it’s her refreshing, standout voice, narrating the age-old tale of an attractive guy that doesn’t treat you right, that makes this jam sound invigorating and original.

Said The Whale – “99 To The Moon”

Formed in Vancouver by Ben Worcester and Tyler Bancroft in 2007, this Canadian indie-rock quartet consists further of keyboardist Jaycelyn Brown and bassist Lincoln Hotchen. Also in 2007 they debuted with their EP “Taking Abalonia”. In 2011 they toured the US for the first time and won the Juno New Group Of The Year Award. They’ve released six albums so far with their retro-touched, pop-rock sound.

Filled with true love and romanticism and wrapped in their invigorating pop-rock stylings, their new single was written for Tyler Bancroft’s partner Laura. Taken from their upcoming album “Dandelion”, expected on October 22nd, it’s about two people growing together over a long period of time. And with ardent guitars, a fierce beat and an 80s vibe, this jam is where everlasting love and music meets.

Tilsen – “Forever, For Now”

Born and raised in Toronto, music has always been part of this Canadian recording artist and songwriter’s life. With an opera singing mom, she was always surrounded by music, both classical as her dad’s classic rock collection, such as The Beatles. After taking guitar lessons at 11, she began writing her own songs at 16. With a moniker which is an anagram of ‘listen’, she debuted with “Hurts” in 2019.

Dripping with infectious optimism and heartfelt honesty, her new single combines a romantic love song with a lively, virulent bounce. Lyrically conveying the excitement felt at the start of new love, though with a touch of healthy cynicism, it is carried by lavish electronic waves of shimmering synths. And with her majestic vocals merging into the soundscape, this is one groove that lasts forever.

CatchTwentyTwo – “Night Is Done”

Born in South-Florida, but having spent most of his youth moving from state to state, this unique singer, songwriter and producer picked up the spark for music along the way after discovering Michael Jackson. Inspired by the King Of Pop, as well as Prince, The Weeknd and Daft Punk, he mixed both classic and current pop and R&B into a distinctive new sound. He debuted with “Coming For Blood” In 2019.

Shimmering in a neon, electronic soundscape, his new single fuses 80s synths with a funkalicious vibe. With a 70s disco rhythm, funky bassline and glistening synths effortlessly merging together into a rich, retro rouse and his vintage, soulful vocals singing about the tantalizing feeling of not being able to touch the one person you love, this invigorating groove will drag you onto the dancefloor.

thisisNAMASTE – “Still Think About You”

Born as Natasha Marie Stewart and raised in Lanark, this Scottish singer and songwriter found herself captivated by music from a young age. After a move to London she attended the Institute Of Contemporary Music. Earning her stripes as a backing singer, she toured with Rita Ora and Bebe Rexha. Inspired by Robyn and Tove Lo, she debuted her perky solo sound on “Exactly What You Want” in 2019.

By taking a buoyant, sunlit rhythm and slightly vintage-dipped synths, her new single is just bursting with sonic energy. While the overall feel of the track is 90s and the sparkling synths give it a neon, 80s touch, it’s the polished production which makes it sound fresh and new. And with her crisp vocals singing about the awkward beginnings of dating, this is a jaunty pop banger you won’t easily forget.

Julia Shuren – “Losing My Perfection”

This singer and pianist caught the music bug aged 7, when she taught herself to play piano by ear, focused on jazz. Despite those first steps, she grew up playing competitive sports. Having already made her mark as a songwriter, she’s currently attending NYU Steinhardt studying Music Theory and Composition. Inspired by Stevie Wonder and Joni Mitchell, she forges a R&B, soul, jazz and gospel blend.

After writing for and collaborating with other artists, such as Italian duo WAMI, she’s now ready to launch her solo sound into the world. Her debut single shows her incredible songwriting prowess with style and grace. With a funky bass, soulful vibes and jazzy vocals it is a luscious amalgam of diverse elements. With a vintage feel and an earstroking melody, this jam is close to perfection.
